On June 5th, 2023, Beehive Hall hosted a significant World Environment Day celebration at 2:00 p.m., emphasising the theme #BeatPlasticPollution. The event aimed to highlight the importance of environmental conservation and sustainable practices.

Proceedings:

The event was masterfully conducted by MC Ms. Afsheen Taj, beginning with a student-led prayer. Ms. Elita extended a warm welcome to the attendees. Mr. K. M. Abdul Rehman Beary inaugurated the celebration by planting saplings. Mrs. Ashwini Shetty, Principal of BSSPS, provided an introductory speech, followed by talks from Mr. Akash and Mr. Abuseikh Saheb. The proceedings concluded with a presidential address and a vote of thanks by Mrs. Suvarna.

Cultural Programme:

The celebration continued with a series of performances:

• A skit by IX and X grade students, showcasing the importance of protecting our ecosystem.
• A song performed by teachers and students centred on conserving nature and Mother Earth.
• A PowerPoint presentation by Mr. Emam Jaffer and Ms. Anitha, reinforced the day’s environmental messages.

The event underscored our collective responsibility to safeguard and sustain our planet for future generations.
